Video Sessions

Video Sessions provide a more visual approach to learning new and innovative techniques in the urologic field. Eight minute videos are presented in 2-hour moderated sessions grouped by specific topic areas. These sessions will take place Sunday, May 20 – Wednesday, May 23 from 8 a.m. – 5:30 p.m. Presenting authors must be present in their assigned session to discuss their video and take questions from the audience.

Video presenters do not need to bring anything with them for the session. Once accepted, the latest version of the submitted video will be used and downloaded to the computer in the meeting room for presentation.

Videos will be available for viewing on-site in the Surgical Video Library. They will also be reproduced and sold as part of an educational product at the Annual Meeting and thereafter.

Each author is required to sign the Video Release form transferring and assigning all copyright ownership the AUA.

Registration & Housing
Remember, all speakers and moderators are required to register for the annual meeting and make their own hotel and travel arrangements.

Upload Your Presentation
Presentations can be submitted in advance of the meeting via the advanced submission site or onsite in Atlanta at the Speaker Ready Room.

Speaker Ready Room

For your convenience, a Speaker Ready Room will be provided during the 2012 Annual Meeting located in Room B206 at the Georgia World Congress Center.

Hours of operation are
Friday, May 18 Noon – 5 p.m.
Saturday, May 19 6 a.m. – 6 p.m.
Sunday, May 20 5 a.m. – 5 p.m.
Monday, May 21 5 a.m. – 6 p.m.
Tuesday, May 22 5 a.m. – 6 p.m.
Wednesday, May 23 5 a.m. – 4 p.m.

As recommended by the AUA Education Council, the AUA Board of Directors has approved guidelines regarding speaker/faculty participation at industry exhibits or events during the AUA Annual Meeting.

Presentation Skills Workshop
To help you sharpen your presentation skills, the AUA offers Presentation Skills Workshops to AUA 2012 presenters. These individual, 30-minute consultations are offered free, by appointment only.
