Program
Posters & Podiums

The AUA Annual Meeting features poster and podium sessions that reflect an extraordinary range of studies in all fields of urology. How are they different? A podium session is designed to permit the author to orally present and explain the objectives, methods, results and conclusions of his/her research. Authors are allotted six minutes to present, followed by a four-minute discussion specifically addressing the audience's questions. A moderated poster session is designed to permit the author to explain and illustrate his/her concepts, techniques or research findings in a manner that will promote understanding more readily than a "rapid fire" podium address. A moderator is present to facilitate questions and answers.
